Hardanger Class
Hardanger Embroidery originated in Norway and is traditionally done white on white (tone on tone) on 22 count evenweave fabric to embellish table linens and other home furnishings. Hardanger is made up of simple and easy to learn stitches to accomplish beautiful intricate designs. Today Hardanger Embroidery is also incorporated into many cross stitch designs by many designers, Emie Bishop of Cross 'N Patch and the Victoria Samper among others.
Please join us to learn the beginning steps of Hardanger Embroidery. We will introduce to the basics of Hardanger Embroidery, teaching how to do kloster blocks cutting, needle weaving and dove's eye. Come by and view our Hardanger display and let us know if you are interested in learning this simple embroidery.

Buttonhole Class
Buttonhole stitches are traditionally used for the outer edge of Hardanger patterns. This stitch makes a smooth and secure edge when the fabric is trimmed outside the buttonhole stitch. Expand upon your Hardanger knowledge with this edging stitch by signing up for one of our Buttonhole classes.

Stitch Nights
1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00- 8:00pm.
